Data Residency

  • EU/EEA only. ByTek exclusively uses infrastructure within the European Union — no customer or system data is stored outside the EU/EEA at any stage.
  • Hosting: production on Google Cloud Platform, europe-west1 (Belgium); ETL processing on Hetzner Cloud, Germany. A GCP organization-level Resource Location Restriction policy enforces EU-only resource creation.
  • The customer's BigQuery warehouse stays in the customer's chosen region; the customer's existing logging, monitoring, and auditing continue to apply to it.
  • International transfers: none for EU customer data. Where a transfer were ever required, Standard Contractual Clauses (EU 2021/914) and a Transfer Impact Assessment are ready for adoption.
